Keeping Safe Devon and Cornwall

Welcome to Keeping Safe Devon & Cornwall. We are a team of people representing lots of organisations aiming to try and reduce bullying and abuse of people with learning disabilities in our community.

Our aim is that keeping safe will help people with learning disabilities in Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly feel safe and part of their communities.

  • We have designed and produced 10 easy to use and easy to read booklets to help people with learning disabilities understand more about important life skills.
    • We have produced keep safe cards for every person with a learning disability listing emergency numbers and can be shown at any time someone is feeling unsafe.
  • We have designed and produced stickers that can be placed in shops, offices and safe places throughout the community so that in any emergency there is always a safe place to go.
  • We are delighted to have teamed up with DotComUnity to help us ensure that everyone is fully aware of the Keeping safe initiative and how they can get involved.
