National Autistic Society

The National Autistic Society is the UK’s leading charity for people affected by autism. We were founded in 1962, by a group of parents who were passionate about ensuring a better future for their children. Today we have over 18,000 members, 80 branches and provide a wide range of advice, information, support and specialist services to 100,000 people each year. A local charity with a national presence, we campaign and lobby for lasting positive change for people affected by autism. Summary:
The Caldicot Support Group holds regular meetings for parents, grandparents or carers of individuals with Autism or Aspergers Syndrome. The meetings offer support and sharing of information in a friendly and informal setting. The group meet every month at the the Bethany Baptist Church. Children, family and friends are also welcome.

Objectives:
Providing opportunities for parents and carers of children with ASD to meet socially for support and information.

Opening Times: 1st Tuesday monthly 1 - 2.30pm (term time)

Signpost asks the user to complete a brief profile for the person who needs the information on the screen. It then presents information relevant to the person with ASD’s age, diagnosis and locality.
